When you send an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, company, email address, telephone number, postcode, property type, enquiry type and anything you write in the message field. If you become a customer we also hold the records needed to deliver and support the work — site details, survey findings, quotations, invoices, service and F-Gas records.
Our website may also collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, through cookies and analytics. See our cookie policy for detail.
We use enquiry details to respond to you and, where you go on to place work, to deliver it. The lawful basis is normally the steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and then performance of that contract. We rely on legitimate interests for ordinary business administration and for keeping records of work carried out, and on legal obligation for statutory records such as F-Gas leak-check documentation and accounting records.
We will only send marketing where you have asked for it or where the law otherwise permits it, and every marketing message carries an unsubscribe option.
We share information with Renergy Solutions Ltd where it is the contracting entity for the works, and with the suppliers and subcontractors needed to deliver a job. We use service providers for website hosting, email, accounting and customer records; these process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
Enquiries that do not become work are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Customer, contract, warranty and statutory compliance records are kept for as long as the law and our insurance require — typically six years after the end of the relationship, and longer where F-Gas or product-liability obligations demand it.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability where it applies.
