Yes. Air source heat pumps are designed to extract heat from the outside air even well below freezing — they’re standard across colder countries than ours. Correct sizing from a heat-loss survey is what makes the difference.

Air-to-air heat pumps (the same technology as air conditioning) heat in winter and cool in summer. Air-to-water systems focus on heating and hot water. We’ll recommend the right type for what you need.

Often yes, sometimes with a few upgraded to larger panels. The heat-loss survey tells us exactly what’s needed so the home stays comfortable.

Modern units are quiet — a low hum from the outdoor unit, comparable to a fridge. We site them carefully to keep sound down and meet permitted-development conditions.
